Originally from Whakatū Nelson, Melissa lives in Hataitai, Pōneke Wellington. She has been a fan of all textile crafts since childhood, and especially loves to knit, sew and embroider. Over recent years she’s added watercolour, printing, punch needle, natural dyeing and making small books to her making practice.
Melissa has maintained the blog ‘tiny happy’ for nearly two decades, and has taught embroidery and sewing workshops here in Aotearoa and Australia. She works in children’s advocacy and communications. -
Sarah Drake

Sarah has always been a crafty type of person and trained as a book and paper conservator. She loves to make things that are “useful and beautiful”.
She no longer works as a conservator, but has found a new passion in hand building pottery which you can find at a range of events and stores around the Wellington region.
